This agreement is between Weddings by Joe ("Officiant") and the undersigned couple ("Couple") for wedding officiant services.
1. Scope of Services:The Officiant agrees to provide wedding officiant services as detailed in the ceremony package selected by the Couple. This includes consultation, ceremony script preparation, and the legal solemnization of the marriage.
2. Couple's Responsibilities:The Couple is solely responsible for obtaining a valid marriage license from the appropriate jurisdiction and presenting it to the Officiant prior to the ceremony. The Officiant cannot legally perform the ceremony without the physical marriage license.
3. Payment & Fees:A non-refundable deposit is required to secure the date and time of the ceremony. The final balance is due on or before the day of the wedding, prior to the start of the ceremony. The Couple agrees to the fee structure of their selected package.
4. Cancellation:If the Couple cancels the event, the deposit is non-refundable. If cancellation occurs within 14 days of the scheduled event, the full fee will be due.
5. Promotional Use of Media:The Couple grants Weddings by Joe a non-exclusive, perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free license to use photos and videos from the wedding for promotional purposes on the Weddings by Joe website, social media, and other marketing materials.
6. Limitation of Liability:In the unlikely event the Officiant is unable to perform the ceremony due to unforeseen circumstances, every reasonable effort will be made to find a qualified replacement. If a replacement cannot be found, liability is limited to a full refund of all fees paid.
By signing, the Couple acknowledges they have read, understood, and agree to the terms of this Service Agreement.
